Welcome to the German 001 Movie Club

Welcome to the German 001 Weekly Movie Review Forum! We will be reviewing a new German movie every week to hopefully start mastering the German language. Please feel free to post your reviews in English, German, or some sort of weird hybrid of the 2.

All of the movies we will be watching can be found on Netflix Streaming. If you don't have it, you can sign up for a free month at Netflix.

If you get a chance, post in the Movie Recommendations forum any movies you would like to view in upcoming weeks. You can find the german movies by going to netflix watch instantly category | Genres | Foreign, and then on the right side choose German.

...my love of movies. Seriously. I've always wanted to be in a film club. Now the first one I'm in, it's a FOREIGN film club. For that, I give myself some cool points. And yes, it shall be epic. I think we should at least attempt to do half of our movie critiques in Deutsch in keeping with the movies we watch. We can further clarify in English if we so choose. We all need the German practice. Klingen gut?

Next week I will try and post my review in German! Great idea!

I've always loved foreign films, especially French and Italian. This will be fun to explore German ones. Gotta love subtitles!!!
